Moblin, Optimized OS for Netbooks

So, as we trial netbooks, should we also try out Linux OS systems that are optimized for netbooks? Moblin is an interesting option, and there’s a report that Dell netbooks could ship with it.

Quick update: We’re planning to order a pilot set of six Dell Latitude L2100s: Pros: 3 year, next day warranty. Rubber-armor. 6 cell battery. Touch screen (maybe). Good reports about keyboard. N wireless. Light that reveal wireless access on top case. Five colors. 16 gig solid state drive. Cons: Only 576 vertical pixels. Somewhat expensive. [...]
